A lot of people turn to music when they're in crisis mode, and camp people are no exception. Meg had started a Facebook note where people could post/share their favorite lyrics to camp songs.
Well then, good thing it occurred to me to save all this work when I typed it up like 7 years ago! A lot has probably changed in the years since Bement and I have parted ways because of Bishop Scruton, but these are the songs that were part of the Bement Songbook when I was there (1991-2004).
I'm not going to divulge all my opinions and theories and feelings about the current crisis at Bement, for a number of reasons. I'd be happy to share them with anyone who is curious, though.
